I'm not a little girl anymore.

numberwahpuck:

“Never. Though it’s funner that way,” he smirked. He knew that funner wasn’t a word but he felt like using it with her anyway, knowing that she’d probably correct him. She always did that stuff and he really liked it. “I am right. You’ll be eating bacon like crazy. Seriously. We’ll be old as fuck and you’ll still be eating bacon,” he teased with a slight laugh. He could just imagine how much bacon she would actually end up eating. She was that type of girl who just ate tons of bacon and well, if they ever had any more kids he’d need to buy bacon by the bulk for her. She’d end up going through it insanely fast. “How? This is my waffles we’re talking about, Quinn.” He loved being dramatic about his food, it was always funny to see the look on her face. “So, if it wasn’t safe then I’d just have a dead girlfriend,” he laughed. He was only getting more and more ridiculous by the moment. The waffles had like crack in them or something. They had to. “Thank you for looking out for me. You’re on your own about the bacon though, babe. Sorry.”

Quinn took another bite of her bacon, “More fun.” She didn’t even think about correcting him. It just came to her now. “Funner isn’t a word.” She looked up at him and shook her head playfully. By now, She knew he just did that to get something out of her. And it worked most of the time. She always corrected him. She looked at him seriously, “Well, If you ever had bacon before then you would know how amazing it is and you would be in love with it too.” She shrugged her shoulders and took another bite. Seriously. You couldn’t blame her. She loved three things; Puck, Beth and Bacon. She knew she’d always love those three things, even when they were super old. She let out a little laugh when Puck got all dramatic. She shrugged her shoulders, “I don’t know. I’ll give you a dollar or something. That should make up for it, right?” It was hard for her not to start laughing, but she was somehow holding up… barely. “You would have a girlfriend who died because she was trying to keep you safe.” She nodded her head and chuckled. “I’m on my own. But what if I die? This piece might be poisoned!” She pointed to a piece of bacon on her plate and took a bite of it. She dropped the piece back onto her plate and brought her hands up to her neck jokingly. “It’s poisoned…Help me” She didn’t know what had gotten into the two of them, but she liked it. And it took their minds off of everything else.

numberwahpuck:

“You do have a point, babe. I’ll only stick to actually cooking when you’re around. That way I can use it as an excuse to get you to kiss me,” he smirked. “You better believe I will.” He was probably going to just say it hurts when it didn’t so she would kiss him again. He never really could resist Quinn and he didn’t think that was ever going to change. He walked over with her to the table, checking her out in the process. He rolled his eyes when she started eating her bacon. “You and that bacon. I swear, in twenty years you’ll still ask me to make you bacon.” He didn’t understand her love for it, but then again she didn’t understand his obsession for a lot of things so they were even. “You just took a piece of my waffle,” he pouted at her. He really liked his waffles and it was a sin in his eyes for her to take a bite. Of course he was just messing with her, like they always did. “I’d steal a piece of bacon if I ate it,” he laughed, realizing how ridiculous that sounded. “If you wanted a waffle I would have made you own, babe.”

Quinn smirked at Puck, “Like you need an excuse to kiss me..” She shook her head playfully as she took another bite of her bacon. She always liked bacon but it wasn’t until the pregnancy that she loved bacon. She could eat it all day every day if it wasn’t so fattening. It was the only thing she really craved during the pregnancy and it was the only thing that stuck around afterwards and she didn’t really mind that much. At least she was back at home and her Mom actually allowed it in the house. She couldn’t help but laugh when Puck said he’d be making it for her in twenty years. “You’re probably right.” She shrugged her shoulders as she took another bite, followed by a sip of her water. She looked at the little pout on his face and fake pouted back at him. “Sorry, I’ll make it up to you.” She loved joking around with him. She laughed with him at his whole bacon thing. She knew what he meant, even if it sounded ridiculous. Once she stopped laughing, she shook her head. “I don’t want a waffle. I just had to take a bit of yours to..uh, make sure it was safe. You know, for you to eat. I’m just looking out for you..” She bit her lip to try to hold back her laughter.

numberwahpuck:

“Sounds like a plan, babe.” He had a lot of fun with her the last time they had one, even though they both ended up a complete mess. He never really cared about getting dirty. In fact, getting dirty was a lot of fun. “I’m lucky, too.” Honestly, he never thought that him and Quinn would stay together or even be together period. She was hell bent on Finn being the baby’s father and well, when things came out in the open they weren’t easy either. He was just glad that they got to be there for each other, and even after Beth’s birth they were still together. He had no doubt that they would stay together for a while. “I didn’t think it would be that hot.” The most cooking that he usually did involved cereal and it was impossible to burn yourself with cereal. So he didn’t actually think about it. He didn’t even answer her question before he felt her lips on his. “Nope. I think I need another kiss,” he smirked and kissed her again. “Now I’m all better, for now at least. Who knows when my finger my randomly start hurting again.”

“Maybe you should just stick to cereal from now on. That way you don’t burn yourself again. Next time I might not be there to make you feel better.” Quinn  teased before feeling his lips on hers again. She chuckled as she pulled away and nodded her head, “Well if it starts to hurt again, you just let me know and make you feel all better.” She smirked at him before grabbing two plates. She handed one to Puck before taking hers and putting some bacon on it. She grabbed two water bottles out of the fridge and walked over to the table, motioning for Puck to do the same. She sat down and took a bite of the bacon and sighed happily before taking another bite. She took a sip of her water before turning to Puck, “How’s your waffle?” She reached her fork over and took a little piece of it for herself, smiling at Puck as innocently as she could. “Tastes good. Next time, You can make me one.. Just don’t burn yourself.” She loved this. She loved being able to just joke around with him and for a while, forget about everything that had happened in the past year from the pregnancy all the way to the adoption.

numberwahpuck:

“What fun is cleaning it up though?” He wasn’t going to do it for that reason alone. Why would he intentionally make a mess, only to have to clean it up himself? Yeah, that shit wasn’t going to happen. He hated the fact that they’d have to clean up their little mess from the food making, and that wasn’t even really that much of a mess. “Hmm, well I don’t know,” he teased, smirking at her. “You just happened to land the hottest guy in the school. You really should consider yourself very lucky.” He was acting cocky just to be like that. He was actually really lucky to have her in his life, considering everything that they went through. Everything that he put her through. He never really took too much to heart when she said to him. She was pregnant after all and hormones were raging. He didn’t want to worry too much about shit like that. He looked at her curiously before remembering that they were making waffles, well he was making waffles. He opened the lid of the griddle and grabbed the waffle with his bare hand before it burn, slightly burning him self. “Shit’s hot.”

“We’ll have another food fight on a day we don’t have to clean it up, okay?” She wouldn’t mind another food fight with him as long as they weren’t the ones stuck cleaning it up in the end. Quinn smirked back at him when he said she got the hottest guy in the school. She knew he was just being the cocky Puck she’s always know, but he was right. She definitely ended up with the best looking guy at McKinley. And who would have ever thought that same guy would end up being one of the best boyfriends too. “I guess I am pretty lucky.” She shrugged her shoulders and smiled at him. She still didn’t know how she got a guy like Puck, who was known for sleeping around, to stay with her through a pregnancy and even after one. She came out of a daze as Puck burned his hand. “Puck… You’re not supposed to take it out with your hands. Obviously, it’s hot.” She rolled her eyes playfully before walking closer to him and taking his hand into hers. She looked at his fingers and then back up to him, “It looks like you’ll be okay. Wanna kiss to make it better?” She let a tiny smirk show before leaning up and kissing his lips softly. She pulled away and smiled, “There. All better?”

“Hmm, should I test that out, Fabray?” He asked with a raised eyebrow. Part of him actually wanted to pur some over her head. The last time that they did it, it was actually quite a lot of fun. Even if it was messy, but then again Finn interrupted them and he just left. So he really didn’t have to clean anything up, but he knew that time that he’d have to clean it up. “Next time you come to my house don’t expect bacon,” he laughed. He couldn’t help it. There would never be any bacon eating in the Puckerman household, unless Puck sneaked it for Quinn. Which he actually did quite a few times but still, if his mother ever found out they’d both be in trouble. “I’m not totally dumb in the kitchen, babe.” He walked on over to the griddle out and tested if it was hot. He put his hand over it and well, he almost burned himself. He was Puck after all. He didn’t stupid shit like that. He poured some batter into the griddle and shut it, leaning against the counter and looking over to his girlfriend. “See, not that hard, Q.”

“Do it and you have to clean it up.” She smirked at him, waiting to see if he actually did anything. She knew if there wasn’t the whole cleaning up part, they’d already be covered. Her mouth dropped when he said no bacon. She wasn’t that surprised. She knew how strict his Mom was about anyone eating bacon in his house, even Quinn. She was just lucky she had Puck to sneak it in for her on those nights when she was really craving bacon, like more than usual. She nodded her head when Puck said he wasn’t dumb in the kitchen. so far it seemed like both of them got a lot better in the kitchen. She smiled at him and walked next to him, “How’d I get so lucky to have a boyfriend who’s good in the kitchen?” She chuckled before leaning in and kissing his cheek quickly. She reached over to the plate with the bacon and took a bite of one of the pieces. She couldn’t help it, it was just there and she couldn’t wait anymore. After a few more minutes, She looked back to the griddle and then back to Puck, “I think the waffles done.”

numberwahpuck:

He took the box of waffle mix in his hands and couldn’t help but let a little laugh escape his lips. He was picturing the little fight they had when they tried to make cupcakes in the home ec room. He remembered that day like it was yesterday, it might as well have been. “You mean you actually trust me not to pour over your head?” He smirked, reading over the directions as he was told to put some in the bowl. He wasn’t going to cause a food fight again but that didn’t mean he thought about it. It’d be fun but then they’d have to clean it, and that alone made it not worth it. He poured some of the mix in the bowl, adding the rest of the ingredients needed to make the batter. He went around the kitchen looking for a spoon and since he was too stubborn to actually ask where anything was it took him ten times longer than it would have if he just sucked it up. “Finally,” he whispered to himself, walking back over to the bowl to mix everything together. Once he was done he was quite proud of himself. “This cooking shit isn’t so hard, babe.”

Quinn looked over at Puck with a smirk on her face. “If you pour it on my head, I’d have no choice but to pour some on yours.” She shrugged her shoulder before going back to the bacon on the stove. Part of her kind of wished he’d start a food fight with her. Last time that happened was fun and if Finn didn’t walk in, something probably would have happened. But then again, Part of her really wished he wouldn’t. The last thing she wanted to do with Puck right now, was clean up waffle batter off everything in the kitchen. She chuckled to herself as she heard Puck looking around in all the drawers for a spoon. Of course he wouldn’t just ask her for help. It was Puck. Quinn turned the stove off once the bacon was done. put it onto an empty plate and put it to the side before taking the griddle out from the cabinet and plugging it into the wall. She turned to look at Puck. “Oh, Yeah?” She teased, “So I guess that means next time I come to your house, I should expect a five course meal.” She laughed as she looked at the waffle mix. Everything actually looked good. “Okay, so once this gets hot.. You have to pour some of the batter into it and close it.”

numberwahpuck:

He smiled as he watched her walked around the kitchen. She was actually a lot more handy in the kitchen then he thought she would be, and definitely a lot more handy than he was. “Who knew you were so domestic?” He teased, smirking a little. “That I can do and it sounds a lot better than some stupid chick flick,” he nodded, accepting the movie choice. He walked on over to her and watched what she was doing for a few moments. “What do you need to me do?” Puck could make waffles, one of the very few things that he could, but he didn’t really know what she wanted him to do. From experience, mainly with his mother, he knew that he was better off if he just asked what to do. Otherwise he ended up getting yelled at, and that was the last thing that he wanted. Getting yelled at by Quinn was by no means fun.

Quinn looked back at Puck and smirked when he mentioned how domestic she was being. Back when she lived with him, she wasn’t too domestic. She was lucky if she could make something and not have it get burnt. Now that she was back home, She had to learn to be better at it. Her Mom was always working or out somewhere so if she wanted to eat dinner, she had to make it herself. In a way, she was happy her Mom was always out. It helped her learn how to cook and at the times like these, it came in handy. She looked back at the counter and checked on the bacon before looking back to Puck, “Help me make the waffles?” She let a little smirk form on her face. She grabbed the box of waffle mix and handed it to him before getting a bowl to put the mix in. Last time they tried to make anything together, it ended up in a food fight in the home ec room. “Put some of the mix into the bowl.”

numberwahpuck:

Puck couldn’t contain his laughter. Of course she wanted bacon. It wasn’t like he was surprised, no he wasn’t surprised by any means. “Hmm, I guess if there’s waffles too I can’t complain.” She loved bacon and he loved waffles. Those were foods that neither of them would ever give up, and it still amused him how his mother never let her eat bacon. His mother never let anyone in their house eat bacon. It was literally against their religion, but still. Quinn wasn’t Jewish so he never understood why it mattered all that much. Plus, if a pregnant woman wants something, a pregnant woman should get it. He scooted off the bed and grabbed her hand, leading her down the stairs. “You can still pick the movie, babe. Though don’t put on any of that chick flick shit. The last thing I need to watch is some sappy couple crying about their feelings.”

Quinn grinned once he agreed to bacon.. and the waffles. She knew adding the waffles would get him to agree. She followed him downstairs and dragged him into the kitchen with her. She immediately went to the fridge and pulled out the package of bacon. She put it on the counter and pulled out everything they needed for waffles. She started cooking the bacon on the stove. This was probably the only thing she didn’t miss about living with Puck. Now that she was back at home, she could have as much bacon as she wanted, whenever she wanted it. She didn’t have to worry about his Mom saying No or having to beg Puck to run out at 2am and sneak some in for her. She leaned against the counter, “No chick flicks?” She fake pouted. “Fine. What about… something scary? But one condition. If I get scared, you need to protect me.” She bit her lip before starting on the waffles for Puck. “Wanna help?”
